If i am spending one month alone on a deserted island i would bring :

1)First aid

Bring First aid could help me if l am injured because the island has no hospital or doctor to help me bandage my wound at all

2) A lighter
At the deserted island i can use the lighter to keep myself warn by making fire with the woods

3) A windbreaker

the windbreaker could help me to keep out of the wind (also help to keep warm)

4) several bottles of water and kettle

I could boil the water from the river and pour it into my bottle thus when i go to find food i do not need to worry about the water as i will carry it along

5) tent

the tent could help me by preventing animals from attacking me or harm me.

hansheng
i would bring swiss army knife ,lots of water, lighter, aid kit, lots of canned food, and i think im ready for any challenges in life.... i chose it as they are the things most important in an adventure.last time someone thought me that these things are important for survival,i would bring swiss army knifes for protection water to lack my thirst, lighter to guide me at night, aid kit to heal my injuries and canned food to eat.thats all i think it could last me for long enough in a desserted island.maybe a few moths... haha:)

Reflection on Hatchet Debate

Within 1 hour, 39 pupils spoke out and shared some of their thoughts on a given topic and in so doing allowed others to have insight of their own beliefs and values - think of the 'Perfect Home' discussion.

I would like to applaud the 39 individuals for bringing such a professional quality to the debate - all contributed to its success and the 'energy' that resulted from this concerted effort will be converted into greater motivation for 6 Grace.

Please take time to reflect and share your thoughts on the following:

How did this debate affect my perceptions of myself?
In what ways did the debate fit my learning style?
Has it influenced the way I perceive English and Literature?
What did the debate show us about the 'tricks' authors use to captivate the heart and mind of the reader?

I had such pleasure hosting the debate and I felt the true magic of 6 Grace.

Please post your thoughts. Thank you.
